1. Aesthetics
Get ready to be whisked off to an enchanting tropical island spa paradise at Spa Tiki, a full service spa conveniently located in beautiful downtown San Diego. Spa Tiki is a themed and "Tropical Spa Diva Experience" that will leave a long lasting island impression.

2. Ambience
Spa Tiki will take you away on a South Pacific tropical island adventure. From the Tiki huts, coconut scents, to the island decor and many other tropically themed amenities, the Spa Tiki experience will make a SpaDiva feel as if she has truly been on vacation.

3. Customer service
As you enter this two-story spa, attendants welcome you into your island spa adventure and escort you to a Royal Island Pedicure Throne (more about this fabulous diva treatment later) or upstairs for a tour of the facilities and one of many spa treatments. Attendants are readily available to address your needs.

4. Qualified and skilled staff/Treatments
I anxiously awaited my Tiki Massage (A combination of Swedish, Pressure Point and Asian techniques) in a delightful
tropically-themed lounge called the Lanai Room, where you can relax in very comfortable lounge chairs, get lost in the
island themed music and dive into a book or magazine. The room is tastefully decorated with palms, bamboo, piped in island music and other tropical "favors" to truly relax your mind and transport you to the South Pacific. I was very lucky to have the Tiki Massage performed by Cassie. After I described my preference for light to medium pressure, Cassie took great care to tailor this fabulous massage to my needs and provided the most perfectly relaxing massage. I recommend her highly and will definitely return specifically for a massage a la Cassie.

5. Variety of Services Offered
Spa Tiki offers an extensive and impressive variety of body treatments, wraps, scrubs, soaks, facials and salon services. The Royal Island Pedicure Experience is everything a Spa Diva could ask for in a pedicure. Do not miss an opportunity to have this absolutely divine spa pedicure adventure!! You are escorted into your very own Tiki throne and surrounded by pillows, candles and comfort. Besides the benefits of a royal pedicure (including a massage, scrub, mask and wrap with warm booties), I was served guava juice and water while "drinking" in the total experience. Chrystal performed my french spa pedicure and I am forever hooked! She is now my preferred pedicurist and this "Royal" pedicure experience will now be a staple in my life. After a Spa Diva experiences perfection, why settle for anything else, right?

6. Diva Essentials
Spa Tiki is a medium-sized spa, yet its "grandness" is in its uniqueness. I know of no other spa in San Diego that offers what Spa Tiki offers...a true island getawaywith all the essentials and more!. A comfy robe, thongs, water, tea hair, bath, body and beauty essentials and an attentive staff await you.

7. Diva Necessities
Although the spa is limited in its locker room space, number of restrooms and showers and does not have a sauna or jacuzzi, there is so much more to be explored at this tropically enriched spa.

8. Extras
The coconut body lotion, often used during treatments and provided in the locker room, is to die for and an absolute luxury a SpaDiva cannot live without! You cannot leave the spa without experiencing or purchasing this lotion as a take-away memory that will extend your spa experience at home until you can have this tropical experience again!

Spa Packages/"Rituals"
These rituals are two -hour experiences that combine the scents, sounds and spirits of a true vacation experience. You select from three ritual packages including: "Fiji Stone Ritual", "Hawaiian Fruits of Paradise" or Thai Contouring Body Ritual. The Rituals are performed exclusivelly in your very own Spa Villa.

Couples Packages
Extra Bonus: Shoud a SpaDiva get hungry while spa-ing, Spa Tiki staff will send out and have delivered the meal of your desire (Downtown San Diego is tremendously blessed with an incredible variety of restaurants). Spa-Tiki will provide a menu of preferred restaurants and menus to choose from.

9. Cleanliness
Cleaniness rating for Spa Tiki is a 10 out of 10. There are service attendants on-site ensuring that the spa remains
clean, replenished, inviting and tidy at ALL times.

10. Final Reflection/Final Comments
Spa Tiki is the "Totally Tropical SpaDiva Experience" worth having again and again. You'll be so relaxed and renewed, you'll make SpaTiki a recurring vacation...I mean spa destination. The SpaDiva is booking her next appointment at SpaTiki right now! I'll see you there!
